              Gary Basinger, CEcD
              President & CEO

              Gary began his career in Economic Development in 1992.  He has been at The Alliance since April 2008.  Early in his career Gary was a cotton farmer in the Lubbock area. Gary is a 1980 graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Agronomy and a 1991 graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Economics.

              Gary has been married to his wife Peggy for 35 years.  Peggy is a retired elementary school teacher.  They have three children, one son and two daughters.  Gary and Peggy have four grandchildren.

              Patti Worfe
              Executive Vice President

              Patti has over 20 years of experience in Municipal Economic Development and just recently began at The Alliance.  She is a Brazoria County native having grown up in Freeport and is a 1990 graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Journalism/Marketing. 

              Patti has a daughter, Paige who is also a graduate of Texas A&M and they enjoy attending Aggie football and baseball games.

              Debbie Pennington
              Vice President, Operations

              Debbie has been with The Alliance since 1998.  She is the Brazoria County Day Event Coordinator, a member of the Brazosport College Small Business Development Center Advisory Committee, Women’s Health Conference Advisory Committee, and serves on the Angleton-Danbury Hospital District board.

              Debbie and her husband, Brett, have been married for 28 years.  Brett works for UTMB Health.  They have four sons and two grandchildren.  Debbie enjoys life outdoors.

              ​ Gabe Williams

               Administrative Assistant

               Gabe is a graduate of Columbia High School and attended college at Brazosport College.  

               Gabe and her husband, Jeremy, have been married for 3 years. They have two girls, Kyla and Korey. Gabe enjoys spending time with her family.
